Job Description

Water Plant Operator I & II - Second Shift (3:00 pm - 11:00 pm) City of Westminster, Maryland Help provide one of life's most essential resources—clean, safe drinking water. The City of Westminster is seeking motivated individuals to join our Water Treatment Plant team. Water Plant Operator I $17.77 - $18.50/hour (includes 10% pay differential) What You'll Do Perform laboratory testing and water quality analysis Operate advanced water treatment systems Monitor plant equipment using SCADA and PLC technology Collect and analyze water samples Assist with maintenance of pumps, motors, filters, and treatment equipment Develop industry certifications while working alongside experienced operators Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Interest in environmental systems, water treatment, or mechanical operations Ability to obtain Maryland water treatment certifications and CDL endorsements after hire Water Plant Operator II $21.11 - $22.50/hour (includes 10% pay differential) Ideal for candidates ready to take the next step in their water treatment career.
