Job Description

About us International Hardcoat is a small business in the Aluminum Anodizing industry. We are professional and agile.
Our work environment includes:
Fully capable laboratory and tools Continuously monitored wastewater system We are seeking an experienced Wastewater Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in Wastewater regulations and practices, with a focus on maintaining our wastewater system to keep our wastewater within permit levels. Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the wastewater system procedures to ensure compliance with EPA, OSHA, and GLWA
  • Conduct regular sampling and testing to ensure wastewater is operating within our permit levels
  • Ensures all federal, state and local wastewater and enviromental systems are compliant
  • Ensures that the wastewater system is maintained and clean
  • Ensures monitoring systems are accurate and calibrated
  • Will respond to any wastewater alerts to be sure it stays compliant
  • Performs First Responder duties during emergencies.
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures, and assists the laboratory when not doing wastewater tasks
  • Ensures all hazardous waste generated by the wastewater system is properly managed and sent out
  • Investigate wastewater alerts to be able to respond with knowledge in the case of out of specification events
  • Work safely and quickly in the event of emergencies or wastewater events
  • Requirements:
  • High school Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Certification in wastewater handling preferred
  • Knowledge of wastewater technology and principles
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail Experience
  • 2years experience in a related field perferred .

Pay:
$50,000.00
  • $55,000.
