Wastewater Superintendent Major Duties:

Clean, maintain and repair tanks, pits and buildings under supervised safety rules, general housekeeping, grounds keeping, landscaping, assist plant operators with chemical feed tank mixtures, change chemical supply tanks as required and other reasonable assignments that are relevant to the wastewater treatment plant daily operations.

Qualifications:

Must have high school diploma, a valid Michigan Driver's License, must be able to lift 50 pounds, capable of solving problems and must possess good oral and written communication skills. Laborer must complete testing for a Michigan Class "D" Sewage Treatment Works Operator Certification within the first 16 months of employment.
