WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Performing skilled work by assisting with the installation, maintenance and/or repair of various City wastewater/water infrastructure projects Operate various types of equipment, hand/power tools and/or vehicles required for assigned work projects

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma (or equivalent) PLUS two (2) years' experience in wastewater collection system and/or water distribution construction, maintenance and/or repair activities OR High school diploma (or equivalent) PLUS three (3) years' experience in underground construction, maintenance and/or repair activities

LICENSING/CERTIFICATION

Valid Driver's License "Class B" Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Tanker and Air Brake endorsements will be required within six (6) months Distribution System 2 Certification may be required within two (2) years

WHO... Can perform manual labor tasks Can work within a team environment Enjoys working outdoors Has experience operating various types of equipment, hand/power tools and/or motor vehicles proficiently Is willing to "get dirty" Participates in On-The-Job Training (OJT) Willing to work "on-call"
