Water/Wastewater Superintendent (Heavy Civil / Self Perform)Location:
Raleigh, NC 27539Salary:
$125,000 - $180,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance + Per DiemFounded in 1947, we are a self performing general contractor with roughly 1,000 employees across the Southeast. Our Raleigh operations support approximately 120 team members and focus heavily on municipal water and wastewater treatment plant construction, structural concrete, mechanical installation, and complex civil packages. We serve public sector clients including city utilities, county water authorities, and regional wastewater districts throughout the Triangle region. We are seeking a Superintendent who will lead field operations for large treatment plant projects, ensuring safe execution, quality workmanship, and schedule adherence.What You Will Be DoingOversee day-to-day field operations for water/wastewater treatment plant construction, including concrete, mechanical, and process equipment installationDirect and coordinate self-perform crews and subcontractors to maintain productivity, safety, and quality standardsInterpret plans, specifications, and submittals to ensure accurate installation of process piping, equipment, and structural componentsMaintain project schedules, daily reports, inspections, and field documentation to support project deliveryLead jobsite safety programs, enforce compliance, and drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvementWhat You Need for This Position5 to 10 years of Superintendent experience with a self-performing general contractorProven experience building water and wastewater treatment plants (non-negotiable)Strong knowledge of concrete structures, process piping, mechanical systems, and equipment installationAbility to lead crews, coordinate subcontractors, and manage complex field sequencing
Preferred:
