Sanitation Supervisor

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sanitation Supervisor to lead our cleaning and custodial operations across various facilities. In this role, you will oversee daily sanitation activities, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and motivate your team to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning, janitorial and custodial tasks across the whole facility and it's departments. Lead, train, and motivate sanitation staff to perform their duties efficiently and uphold quality standards. Develop work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to ensure timely completion of cleaning routines. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to verify cleanliness, safety compliance, and proper use of cleaning equipment. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, laundry products, and equipment; notify the needed to maintain operational readiness. Enforce health and safety regulations related to sanitation procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and waste disposal. Collaborate with management and USDA inspector to develop sanitation protocols that meet industry standards for hospitality, healthcare, or commercial environments. Skills Proven experience in cleaning within commercial and food environment settings. Supervising experience with a focus on managing teams in fast-paced environments. Strong management skills with the ability to lead by example and foster teamwork. Extensive knowledge of cleaning techniques, operations, and custodial best practices. Leadership qualities that inspire accountability and high performance among staff members. Excellent organizational skills for scheduling, inventory management, and compliance tracking. Ability to communicate clearly with team members at all levels and adapt to changing priorities effectively.
