Full-Time, Permanent Relocation assistance available Overview We are seeking an experienced Wastewater Treatment Manager to oversee the daily operations of a water treatment plant and associated well systems at a large industrial facility. This role is critical in ensuring consistent water quality, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across the site. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in water/wastewater treatment, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to environmental compliance and workplace safety. Key Responsibilities Oversee and maintain all water treatment plant operations, including wells, equipment, chemical inventory, and preventative maintenance programs Ensure optimal water quality and supply to support facility-wide operations Monitor system performance by analyzing operational data, logs, and treatment outcomes; implement improvements as needed Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory agencies Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental regulations and permitting requirements Supervise and lead water treatment operators, including scheduling, training, and performance management Promote and maintain a safe working environment with proper tools, equipment, and safety practices Coordinate with environmental and operational teams to support overall site objectives Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required 5+ years of experience in water and/or wastewater treatment operations Valid Water Treatment license with required endorsements Strong knowledge of environmental compliance standards and state/federal regulations (including EPA guidelines) Proven ability to lead teams and manage day-to-day plant operations Work Environment & Benefits Full-time, onsite position Opportunities for career growth and professional development Comprehensive benefits package may include: Health, dental, and vision coverage Retirement savings plans Paid time off and holidays Employee wellness programs Tuition reimbursement and employee discounts Additional Information Occasional travel may be required Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates
