Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator (Level II)

We're hiring a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator (Level II) to operate, maintain, and support daily functions of a wastewater treatment facility in Rio Rancho, NM. This role involves monitoring plant operations, performing lab testing, and ensuring systems run safely and efficiently.

Pay:

$23.24 per hour Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor wastewater treatment systems Control flow using pumps, valves, and generators Record meter readings and maintain shift logs Collect samples and perform lab testing Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs Respond to system issues, callouts, and emergencies Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines Basic Qualifications Valid driver's license Level II Wastewater Certification 2+ years of wastewater plant operations experience Basic digital/computer skills Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and equipment Understanding of pumps, motors, and valves Familiarity with lab testing and analysis Ability to respond to callouts in a timely manner #Wastewater #WaterTreatment #UtilitiesJobs #PlantOperator
