Job Description

Join Our Team! We are seeking an entry level Part-Time Wastewater Operator Trainee to support operations at multiple wastewater treatment facilities throughout the Central New York region. Join a team dedicated to protecting public health and the environment through the safe and effective operation of wastewater treatment facilities.
Position Highlights:
Part-time position Hands-on training provided Opportunity to gain experience in wastewater treatment operations Work at multiple facilities throughout the Central NY region
Requirements:
Willingness and ability to travel between multiple treatment plants in the Central New York area Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Interest in environmental services, utilities, or wastewater operations
Responsibilities:
Assist with the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment facilities Collect samples and perform routine inspections Monitor equipment and facility performance Complete required operational logs and reports Support compliance with environmental regulations If you're looking for an opportunity to start a career in the wastewater industry while working a flexible schedule, we'd love to hear from you.
