Job Description

Adecco is seeking an experienced and hands-on Sanitation Supervisor to lead and oversee sanitation operations within a food manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring all production equipment, processing areas, and facility spaces are cleaned and sanitized according to food safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years previous experience & strong leadership skills, experience in food manufacturing, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • + Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the sanitation team.
+ Ensure all equipment, production lines, and facility areas are properly cleaned and sanitized. + Enforce compliance with GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) & food safety regulations. + Train, coach, and develop sanitation employees on proper cleaning procedures and safety protocols. + Conduct inspections to verify sanitation effectiveness and address any deficiencies. + Maintain sanitation schedules and ensure tasks are completed on time. + Monitor and manage sanitation chemicals, supplies, and inventory. + Complete and maintain sanitation records, logs, and documentation. + Work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance teams to support operational goals. + Investigate and resolve sanitation-related issues and implement corrective actions when needed. + Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Qualifications
  • + High school diploma or GED required.
+ Previous supervisory experience in sanitation, food manufacturing, or a related production environment. + Knowledge of food safety regulations, GMPs, HACCP, and sanitation best practices. + Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. + Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. + Experience with sanitation chemicals and cleaning equipment. + Proficient with documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Physical Requirements
  • + Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift. + Ability to work in wet, cold, hot, and noisy manufacturing environments. + Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • $22.
