This is a dynamic role that involves a combination of fieldwork, system monitoring, and environmental compliance responsibilities.

Position Details:

Full-time (40 hours per week) Required participation in on-call rotation Occasional weekend work required Probationary period upon hire Will be required to obtain Landfill Inspector License Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment physical examination.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain wastewater treatment systems Perform inspections and maintenance related to acid mine drainage systems Conduct landfill inspections and ensure compliance with applicable regulations Collect samples, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports Respond to system issues and emergencies as needed Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Ability to lift at least 40 lbs Strong written and verbal communication skills Willingness to obtain a wastewater license (not required at hire but encouraged)

Preferred Qualifications:

Class B CDL with air brake endorsement Electrical and/or mechanical experience
