Zentis is Europe's number one fruit processing company and one of the leading brand manufacturers of jams, sweets, and custard-based desserts. The Company's North American operations are in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Plymouth, Indiana, where we produce fruit and dairy preparations for a variety of customers including yogurt, ice cream and bakery manufacturers. The Sanitation Supervisor will lead the sanitation team to ensure facility hygiene and safety for a clean facility are strictly adhered to. This is an Exempt position. The position is a 3rd shift position work from 10pm - 6am
Primary Responsibilities :
Supervise and maintain sanitary conditions throughout the plant across all shifts. Ensure that the master sanitation tasks (daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.) and schedules are maintained and performed on time. Ensures that the facility is always audit ready at all times as it relates to housekeeping and sanitation. Work with Orkin, QA, supervision, other outside sanitation companies, management, and the sanitation crew to address sanitation issues. Spend physical time on each shift to ensure the proper sanitation tasks are executed as per SSOPs and regulatory requirements. Develop and train employees in the sanitation of the production area and processing equipment. Communicate with supervisors daily to ensure proper transfer of all pertinent sanitation information. Assist with the creation and execution of work instructions, SSOPs and procedures. Any other duties as assigned.Formal Education Required:
BS or BA degree or equivalent required.Specific Experience and Key Knowledge Requirements:
4 years' experience in sanitation, preferably in food manufacturing sanitation, 2 years' experience in Management Supervision, QA, Production Scheduling, Sanitation, and any Regulatory Agency Requirements.Special Skills and Abilities Required :
