Since 1973 Syntec Corporation has been providing quality water treatment products and services to a wide range of industries including chemical, food processing, electric utility, health care, manufacturing, pharmaceutical and commercial real estate to the Northeast Corridor. We are looking for an experienced Boiler and Cooling Water Service Account Manager to service and manage existing accounts in the North New Jersey/NYC metropolitan area. The Water Treatment Service Account Manager must have experience working in commercial and industrial water treatment and be knowledgeable of NYS and NYC Legionella regulations. You will work closely with our District Manager and our customers to provide water treatment programs tailored to their specific needs.

Responsibilities:

Service boiler and cooling existing accounts. Perform repairs and general maintenance of equipment including controllers, pumps, blowdown valves and pre-treatment systems. Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills and are required including plumbing, (PVC and Copper Press) and light electrical. Strengthen existing client relationships including top notch healthcare organizations and educational campuses. Strong organization skills including scheduling timely service visits, coupon removals and Legionella testing. Knowledge and experience of programming of Remote Conductivity/pH/ORP Controllers is a plus. NYDC 7G Cooling Tower Pesticide Applicator/Technician License required. Strong communication skills with clients, office staff and District Managers about equipment repairs, replacements and any other additional items that may be needed at client's locations. Weekly Remote service meeting attendance via Teams and the ability to follow-up with either clients and/or internal staff in a timely manner. Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle.

Requirements:

Preferably resides in North NJ and/or NYC. Minimum five years experience in water treatment is required. MUST be in good physical ability. Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record preferably with no moving violations. Experience with hazardous chemicals and PPE requirements. Must possess a high school diploma Technical certification and/or degree is preferred but not required. OSHA 30 is preferred but no required and the ability to obtain the OSHA 30 within 60 days of employment.
