Weston & Sampson Services is currently looking for a Operator to support operations and maintenance out of our North Charleston, SC location. : What you'll do: Operation and maintenance of a water distribution system, a water treatment plant and a biological wastewater treatment plant Reading meters and gauges Collecting field readings and samples of water and wastewater Monitoring and observing operating conditions and adjusting process controls as necessary Troubleshooting of plant equipment and performing minor maintenance as necessary Collecting samples and performing routine lab tests Maintaining compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements General housekeeping at facilities Maintaining accurate records of operations and maintenance activities Compiling monthly data for compliance reporting What you will bring: A high school diploma or equivalent is required 4 years of wastewater operation experience A South Carolina Class D Water Treatment Operator license required A South Carolina Class C Biological Wastewater Treatment Operator license required A South Carolina System Operator License Familiarity with computers in a Windows based environment Must be able to work outdoors in all climates, climb ladders and lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs. Good written and verbal communication skills Valid driver's license #
