Wastewater Treatment Operator I Starting Pay Rate:
$19.00 Mayday Manufacturing is looking for Wastewater Treatment Technician, lab experience is a plus. Along with operating and maintaining our Wastewater Treatment System, this position also provides the opportunity to learn plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and machine maintenance. Position Overview:
The Wastewater Treatment Technician I operate and maintain a Wastewater Treatment System (WWTS) and related equipment and chemicals to comply with local, state, and federal permit requirements per
HITOP-011-09.
Performs WWTS maintenance and clerical duties per HITOP-011-09, maintains chemical inventory, and maintains, and runs boilers, chillers, and RO water units.
Shift:
1st shift 7:00am-3:00pm. Monday - Friday Duties and Responsibilities Safely makes chemical additions to a variety of plating and anodizing baths. Makes basic adjustments to pH, ORP, and TDS probes. Makes basic repairs of pneumatic pumps, mixers.
Competencies:
Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items received. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and employees. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
