This position is responsible for ensuring the facility is cleaned and sanitized according to company and food safety standards while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience, knowledge of sanitation procedures, and experience working safely with industrial cleaning chemicals. Ensure all warehouse areas are cleaned and sanitized according to company standards. Safely handle, mix, and use sanitation chemicals following established safety procedures. Train team members on proper cleaning techniques, chemical safety, and PPE requirements. Perform routine inspections to verify sanitation standards are met. Complete sanitation logs and required documentation accurately. Monitor sanitation supplies and notify management when inventory needs replenishing. Promote a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. Work closely with warehouse management to ensure sanitation schedules are completed on time. Qualifications Previous sanitation and supervisory experience preferred. Experience working with industrial sanitation chemicals is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices, GMPs, HACCP, and OSHA standards is a plus. Ability to work in a cold warehouse environment throughout the shift. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Must be dependable with excellent attendance. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
