  • $24 Job Summary Under direct supervision, this position involves performing a variety of duties involved in monitoring and controlling the mechanical, electrical, and chemical equipment used in water treatment.
Ensures that all Plant, Booster and Pump Stations equipment is properly operating and maintained. Performs laboratory test procedures and keeps accurate records. Add water treatment chemicals to day tanks and records same, calculates chemical dosage daily raw and treated water usage. Backwash filters and recycles backwash as needed. Collects water samples, runs daily water quality test, interprets and records results. Candidate will be responsible for system breakdowns and after-hour emergencies. Provides great customer service and other duties as assigned. Job Requirements 1. High School Diploma / GED 2. Candidate must be willing to obtain or Possess minimum Class "D" Water License. 3. Must be able to work a rotation shift schedule to include day, evening and night. 4. Good math skills 5. Good Communication Skills (reading, writing, and speaking) 6. Customer Service 7. Problem Solving/Analysis 8. Detail oriented 9. Ability to perform light manual labor to maintain equipment and structures. 10. Must have a current Valid Texas Driver's License (English/Spanish) preferred
