Job Description

SWA is hiring a Temporary Operator In Training in Pampa, TX!
Pay:
$24.00/hour
Schedule:
M-F 8:00am-4:30pm
Qualifications:
Must be able to pass a criminal back ground check and drug screening High School Diploma or GED required. Basic experience operating water and/or wastewater treatment plants preferred. Familiarity with computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to accurately enter data into a maintenance management system. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no major infractions).
Responsibilities:
Operate treatment facilities to control the flow and processing of water, wastewater, sludge, and effluent. Monitor gauges, meters, and control panels to observe variations in operating conditions. Interpret data and readings to ensure optimal system performance. Perform basic maintenance and assist in preventive maintenance activities for equipment and facilities. Collect and analyze samples to support quality control and regulatory compliance. Record operational data, test results, and maintenance activities in logs and digital systems. Assist in troubleshooting and implementing corrective actions when operational issues arise. Follow all safety regulations and standard operating procedures. Perform other duties as assigned to support plant operations.
