Job Description

HELP WANTED
The Town of Chase City has an immediate opening for a part-time wastewater plant operator. General duties & requirements include but are not limited to, operating wastewater plant, taking samples, performing tests, preparing reports, maintaining records & files, transporting processed sludge to the landfill and checking pump stations. Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Applicant will also need to be able to obtain a CDL within six months of employment. Possession of a Class IV water or wastewater treatment operator's license by the Commonwealth of Virginia is preferred but not required. Applications can be obtained at chasecity.org or at the Town office 525 N Main Street, Chase City. Position will remain open until filled.
