In this pivotal role, you will oversee the bond release process for water and sewer projects, ensuring all work complies with regulatory standards, project specifications, and safety protocols. Your leadership will drive efficient project execution, quality assurance, and seamless coordination among teams, contractors, and clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead critical infrastructure projects that impact communities while utilizing your construction management expertise. Responsibilities Supervise water and sewer installation and maintenance activities on construction sites, ensuring adherence to schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to facilitate timely bond releases by verifying all work meets required standards. Conduct quality control inspections using tools like ohmmeters and ensure all work complies with OSHA safety regulations and industry best practices. Read and interpret complex schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings to guide teams accurately through installation processes. Manage project budgets by monitoring costs related to materials, labor, and equipment while maintaining strict control over expenditures. Lead supervising efforts on-site by managing personnel, assigning tasks efficiently, and fostering a safe working environment through ongoing safety training. Oversee contract compliance by reviewing contracts and ensuring scope of work aligns with project objectives. Perform regular site inspections to ensure construction quality standards are met; address any issues promptly to prevent delays or rework. Maintain detailed records of project progress, safety incidents, inspections, and bond release documentation for audit purposes. Experience Proven experience in construction management with a focus on water and sewer infrastructure projects. Demonstrated supervising experience in heavy civil or utility construction environments. Strong background in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to water/sewer installation and general construction site safety protocols. Experience managing project schedules through Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools; ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously. Skilled in budgeting processes with a focus on cost control for large-scale infrastructure projects. Ability to operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters for quality assurance purposes.
