Job Description

The Town of Hartford is seeking a qualified, experienced candidate for the position of Assistant Chief Wastewater Operator for the Quechee sewage treatment plant, community sanitary systems, and sanitary distribution system. Minimum qualifications include; Current Vermont Grade 1DM Wastewater Certification; High School Diploma and 5-7 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Supervising a staff of 1-3 operators and a valid drivers license. Ability to operate and repair equipment; and be a team player who is self motivated. This is a full time position where pay is commensurate with experience, ranging from $27.59 to $34.83 per hour.
