Sanitation Supervisor

Our client is a leading food manufacturer seeking a Sanitation Supervisor for 3rd shift operations at their facility in the greater Oconomowoc/Madison, WI area. They offer an extensive benefit program, hourly rate of $30-37/hour, a $2/hour shift differential, annual bonus program. Minimal relocation benefits are available for a well-qualified candidate.

Job responsibilities include:

• Lead, motivate, and facilitate learning to achieve productivity results, improve individual skills, and enhance teamwork
• Work towards continuous improvements within the department and facility
• Lead actions for assigned duties and establish and sustain effective relationships with all team members to foster an environment where innovation, cooperation, and ownership are used to solve problems
• Coach, lead, and develop team members to consistently deliver great performance
• Lead, develop, and initiate process improvement efforts; conduct and lead an effective pre-shift meeting
• Monitor and ensure timely completion of master sanitation schedule; follow Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs)
• Ensure sanitation and food safety specifications are met; train and coach staff on sanitation processes
• Responsible for performance, productivity, and efficient utilization of resources
• Manage execution of 7 steps of sanitation and meet company and USDA standards of acceptability
• Conduct environmental and bioluminescence swabbing and complete sanitation documentation paperwork accurately
• Maintain proper set up and teardown knowledge of equipment within Finished Goods
• Identify Critical Control Points in assigned area and maintain all GMPs
• 3rd Shift hours are 9:00 pm - 5:30 pm with overtime as production demands, and possible weekends The following qualifications must be met to be considered for the position:
• Associate degree required; BS/BA preferred
• Minimum 2 years leadership, coaching, mentoring, or supervisory experience required
• 1-3 years food manufacturing experience required
• Bilingual in English/Spanish a big plus
• Skilled in Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) a big plus
• Basic sanitation experience desired; must be able to identify Critical Control Points and maintain GMPs
• Able to lift 60 lbs.

Pay:

$30.00 - $37.00 per hour
