Job Description
Warm Springs Public Service District has an immediate opening for a Chief Wastewater Operator position to operate, monitor, maintain and troubleshoot the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) and its process. A high school diploma or GED is required plus a valid driver's license. Requirements for the position include a West Virginia Class II A wastewater certification, good math skills and be able to report to work in inclement weather and different weather conditions. Hours will include weekends on an alternating schedule. Applicant must be able to obtain a West Virginia collection certification and complete the water/wastewater Chief Operator class. Health insurance and retirement plans are available. Salary is dependent on experience. WSPSD is a political subdivision of the State of West Virginia and an equal opportunity employer.
