Candidates must successfully complete a 3G & 4G Stick Carbon Plate Weld Test in Athens, GA prior to arriving onsite. This is an excellent opportunity for dependable welders looking for steady overtime and per diem. Structural Welder - Stick Carbon (3G & 4G Plate Test Required)

Athens, GA (Weld Test Location) Huntsville, AL (Jobsite)
Pay & Schedule:
Pay Rate:
$32/hour
Per Diem:
$100/per days worked (Must reside outside of 60-mile radius of Huntsville, AL)
Schedule:
5-6 days per week
Hours:
7:00 AM - 5:30
PM Expected Weekly Hours:
50-60 hours
Job Responsibilities:
Perform structural stick welding on carbon steel Read and interpret welding symbols and blueprints Assist with steel erection and miscellaneous industrial work Maintain a safe and productive work environment Follow all site safety and quality requirements
Requirements:
Must pass a 3G & 4G Stick Carbon Plate Weld Test Industrial or structural welding experience required Ability to work overtime and Saturdays as needed Must pass background check Must complete RAI and Red Stone Arsenal badging requirements Reliable transportation required PPE & Tools Required Employees must provide: Basic PPE Welding hood and welding PPE Basic welding tools Immediate starts available upon: Background check approval Completion of Navy Base forms Successful weld test completion Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply ASAP as positions are limited.
Pay:
