Welder:

Fitting & welding parts using information from production drawings, shop travelers & work instructions as required utilizing MIG welder, fixtures, and basic welding tools to meet print specifications. Responsible for setting appropriate welding machine parameters for the material being welded. Responsible for making welds to meet print specifications. Responsible for producing strong penetrated welds that are smooth, non-porous, and consistent. Basic operation of robotic weld cell as assigned Verifies conformance of finished part to print specifications and quality standards. Skills and Experience needed for

Welder:

3+ years of hands on welding experience and the ability to weld vertical, flat, and overhead. Ability to operate acetylene torches. Math skills including metric system and angles. Ability to read tape measures and angle finders. As well as blueprint drawings and AWS weld symbols. Ability to operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
