Job Description

Southworth International Group, Inc., located in Manila, AR, has an immediate opening for Production Support Working Leader Southworth is the world's largest manufacturer of ergonomic material handling equipment for vertical lifting and work positioning. Duties and Responsibilities Able to read and understand blueprints and other specification and able to communicate as a set of instructions Provide department employees with guidance, direction and technical assistance as well as training when Building Manager is not available Layout, position, fit and weld components to assemble machinery according to blueprints and/or verbal instructions including hydraulic assembly and hydraulic schematics Proficient use of various welding tools and equipment following established procedures and work practices, while achieving an acceptable level of quality Develop and maintain a clean and safe work environment Provide customer satisfaction through schedule attainment by providing quality products Provide proper housekeeping, care of equipment and safe operating procedures Must be able to present departmental statistics in presentation format utilizing computer and computer programs including but not limited to: Excel, Power Point and Microsoft Word Perform other duties and complete other assignments as may be requested or assigned Qualifications - Skills and Experience Must have knowledge of welding techniques, able to read and understand blueprints, painting, metal fabrication, hydraulic assembly and hydraulic schematics 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Must have good communication skills both verbally and electronically utilizing email Must have supervisory skills and be computer literate Demonstrate good judgment, dependability and satisfactory work quality and quantity Must be able to build an effective team through personal interaction based on trust, respect, communications, problem solving and individual, as well as team performance Must be able to bend, twist, reach, grasp with fingers, stand for extended periods of time, and lift to 50 pounds Qualifications -
