$22-$25 BOE Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Plastics Fabricator/Hot Air Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling high-quality plastic components using various welding techniques and fabrication tools. Your expertise will ensure the production of durable, precise, and reliable plastic products that meet strict industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects within a fast-paced environment, contributing to innovative solutions across construction, manufacturing, and custom fabrication sectors. Requiring 1-3 years experience Duties Operate hot air welding equipment to join and seal plastic materials with precision and consistency Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication processes Utilize hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and sheet metal tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling plastics Measure and verify dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding techniques on various plastics and sheet metals Conduct pipe threading, ductwork fabrication, and assembly of plastic components according to specifications Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues, perform rigging tasks, operate forklifts safely when needed, and adhere to ASME codes & standards for quality assurance Use schematics and technical manuals to guide fabrication tasks while maintaining safety protocols at all times Experience Proven construction site experience or background in manufacturing environments involving plastic fabrication or welding Hands-on experience with MIG, TIG, FCAW, plasma cutting, press brake machines, and other welding methods specific to plastics Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with attention to detail Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and basic math for precise measurements and assembly tasks Knowledge of mechanical systems including pipe threading, ductwork fabrication, and sheet metal work Prior experience working within ASME codes & standards or similar quality frameworks is a plus Join our team if you're passionate about crafting high-quality plastic products through innovative fabrication techniques!
