Foutz Motorsports Welder / Fabricator - Off-Road Shop Foutz Motorsports off-road shop has immediate positions open for a Welder / Fabricator. Work in our climate controlled state of the art facility along side other off-road enthusiasts. Must have experience in off-road fabrication or similar race environment. Must have expert level skills at both MIG and TIG welding. Summary of Key Responsibilities Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following: Daily tasks of welding and preparing jobs for fabrication Ability to read blue prints and build to fixtures from handmade / bent parts Know how to bend tubing and make parts from scratch Attention to detail on prints to ensure ALL product is correct and passes QC Ability get to work on time every day without drama. Self starter and hard worker to meet deadlines

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Know how to bend tubing and sheet meatal parts into welded assemblies Round tube and thin sheet metal work. 4130 and thin sheet metal and aluminum parts Expert level MIG welding and some TIG welding a must and will have to pass weld test. Self-motivated, assertive, and responds to production metrics Must know how to read and operate basic measurement tools (tape measure, protractor, calipers) Contributes to building a positive team spirit and puts success of team above own interests MUST have reliable transportation to get to work on time every time. Mechanical work is part of the job. Automotive mechanical knowledge a must. Summary of Experience and Education Must be detail oriented and able to pay close attention to detail and follow instructions Minimum 3 years high end race shop and race fabrication experience or aerospace experience Expert level MIG welder. Excellent TIG welder Compensation Compensation $25 - up Depending on experience, with growth possibilities. Hours are normally 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Job is full time on location at our main facility in
