Full Job Description Description:
Fabricate, weld, and modify metal components for RVs, trailers, and towing applications. Install hitches, towing accessories, brake controllers, and related equipment. Inspect vehicles and trailers to determine installation and fabrication requirements. Discuss work requirements with shop foreman or service advisor. Communicate additional service or repair recommendations to service advisor. Plan work procedures in cooperation with shop foreman. Provide labor time estimates to service advisor. Monitor work progress and update service advisor regularly. Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies, quality standards, and safety procedures. Complete story and/or documentation for customer work performed. Attend company and manufacturer training as required.
Requirements:
Welding and fabrication experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills. Experience using welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication equipment. Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Good communication skills for working with service advisors, foremen, and team members. Ability to follow established procedures and safety guidelines. Ability to lift, move, and work with heavy materials and equipment.
