About the
Job:
1099 Contract position for (4) qualified MIG welders. Fixture and MIG weld .250\" wall rectangle tubing. Weld stringers need to be hot and have good penetration. Mig-Pulse stringers to be performed. Custom made fixture table. All parts being welded are clean, laser cut and press brake bent parts. Brand new Miller 255 welding machines running .045\" wire. Forklift for lifting. All tools provided. Bring your own auto-darken helmet and steel toe boots. Close to Elliot Rd and S Kyrene Road, Tempe 85283. Job expected to take 2 months. It is possible to convert to a full time W-2 position for welders who excel. Excellent pay, based on experience. Paid Weekly (Friday). Pay rate to be discussed at the interview. Weld Test Interviews will be held Thursday 5/7/2026 and Friday 5/8/2026. Job starts welding Monday May 11th

6am-3:00pm
Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding on structural steel components to meet project specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Inspect welds for quality and adherence to industry standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and goals. Utilize welding equipment correctly, safely and effectively.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in MIG welding, preferably in structural applications. High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification preferred. Strong understanding of welding techniques and safety practices. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy materials. Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
