Welder Helper / General shop helper Hester Enterprises LLC Phoenix, AZ Job Details Full-time $20 - $30 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Forklift Cleaning Welding Entry level Full Job Description 1099 contract job expected to last 2 months. A full-time W2 position will be offered to contractor(s) who excel at their job.
THE JOB:
Use forklift to move heavy components on/off the welding tables. Removed welded parts, then clean and populate the 2nd fixture table with fresh parts and clamp them into position for welding. You will be rotating fixture tables with the welders. The welders will rotate between 2 fixture tables so they will be constantly welding. You will be fixturing and the welders will be welding. This is a fast pace position and great attention to detail is critical. Pretty simple requirements, work quickly, move with purpose, don't fixture the wrong part, dont clamp a part in place if there is a large piece of splatter keeping the part from sitting flat on the jig table. If you walk or move slow, this is not the position for you. If you are a smart, mechanical type who can always thinks 8 steps ahead, you will be successful. There is a lot of opportunity on a variety of departments & machines within our shop for candidates who can be shown a task 1 or 2 times and require no more instruction. We want people who can use common sense and try different steps to refine a series of tasks into a finely-tuned, efficient process. We will have group interviews on May 7 & 8th 2026 in Phoenix 85034. The job starts Monday May 11th Tempe 85283. S Kyrene Road @ Elliot Road. (east valley) Paid weekly (Friday) Very clean, new, safe shop environment
