Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable TIG Welder with strong pipe welding and fit-up experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in TIG welding processes, capable of producing high-quality welds on stainless steel and carbon steel, and able to meet strict quality standards, including AWS X-ray requirements. Key Responsibilities Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel piping systems Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and welding procedures Execute precise pipe fit-up and layout Ensure all welds meet AWS standards and pass X-ray inspection Maintain a high level of safety, quality, and productivity on job sites Travel to various job sites as required Work weekends and overtime when needed to meet project deadlines Qualifications & Requirements Current TIG welding certification (required) Demonstrated experience in pipe welding and fit-up Ability to pass AWS X-ray (radiographic) weld testing Strong knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and safety procedures Experience working with stainless and carbon steel Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Preferred Qualifications Additional welding certifications (AWS or equivalent) Experience working in industrial, construction, or fabrication environments Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Opportunities for overtime and travel pay Per diem (if applicable) Health benefits and retirement options Opportunities for advancement
