Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Welder to join our dynamic fabrication and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise welding operations across various projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to building durable structures, piping systems, ductwork, and custom metal assemblies that meet strict industry codes and client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites and manufacturing environments where your technical skills and mechanical knowledge will shine. Responsibilities Perform
MIG, TIG, FCAW
(Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding techniques on a variety of metals including sheet metal, pipe, and structural components. Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute fabrication and assembly tasks. Utilize hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape, cut, and assemble metal parts. Conduct precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure components meet specifications. Execute pipe threading, ductwork fabrication, and mechanical assembly in accordance with ASME codes & standards. Operate rigging equipment such as cranes and forklifts safely to move heavy materials or assemblies on-site or in manufacturing settings. Follow safety protocols diligently while maintaining a clean work environment; collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during welding or fabrication processes. Requirements Proven experience working on construction sites or manufacturing facilities as a welder with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding techniques; experience with welding preferred. Ability to read complex blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately. Skilled in the use of calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment. Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to welding and fabrication practices. Mechanical aptitude with understanding of pipe threading, rigging procedures including crane operation, machining processes, soldering techniques, and assembly work. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precision work. Valid certifications in welding (such as AWS certification) are highly desirable; prior experience with construction or manufacturing environments is preferred. Ability to work safely at heights or in confined spaces as required by project specifications.
