This role involves MIG and/or TIG welding, blueprint interpretation, metal finishing, and ensuring high-quality output in a fast-paced environment. Ideal for candidates who take pride in precision, safety, and craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities MIG/TIG Welding — Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal components. Blueprint Interpretation — Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to determine proper welding processes. Part Assembly — Weld cut parts together efficiently and accurately. Metal Finishing — Deburr, grind, and smooth metal surfaces to achieve proper finish. Quality Inspection — Inspect completed welds for structural soundness using micrometers, calipers, and precision tools. Machine Care — Maintain equipment condition and ensure safe, proper operation. Safety Compliance — Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE at all times. Maintain clean and organized work area. Perform additional tasks as assigned. Qualifications Experience with MIG or TIG welding required. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Skilled in grinding, de-burring, and metal finishing. Familiarity with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.). Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work the full shift: 6:00 AM-2:30 PM.
