The candidate will be involved in the following activities welding, polishing, overall Metal Fabrication. Applicants must have experience fitting and welding steel, preferably in a manufacturing environmentDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up materials for the assigned job (project) Review shop drawings, address questions or concerns in fabrication methods Cut Metal parts, and fit to size per shop drawings Assemble and fabricate metal parts according to blueprints and specifications Operate various tools and equipment such as calipers, cranes, and welding machines Read and interpret blueprints to determine project requirements Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate measurements and dimensions Use sheet metal fabrication techniques to cut, shape, and bend metal Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.QUALIFICATIONS
Will require over 2 years of experience welding, polishing, overall Metal Fabrication knowledge in hot rolled and cold rolled steel, aluminum, stainless steel High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Completion of a training program or apprenticeship will be advantageous. Experience in the use of TIG and MIG (required) welders Needs to have knowledge in polishing metals for finished look Excellent teamwork Attention to detail. Ability to meet tight deadlines without sacrificing workmanship and Safety.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
