Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Welder to join our dynamic fabrication and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise welding tasks across various projects, ensuring all work meets strict quality standards and safety regulations. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong foundation in multiple welding techniques and fabrication processes. Your expertise will directly contribute to the successful completion of complex metal assemblies, ductwork, piping, and structural components on construction sites and manufacturing facilities. Duties Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and <
LOCATION
> welding to fabricate, repair, and assemble metal structures and components. Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine weld specifications and procedures. Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape and prepare materials such as sheet metal, pipe, and ductwork. Measure materials accurately with calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure proper fit-up before welding or assembly. Demonstrate mechanical knowledge by understanding rigging, pipe threading, machining, soldering, and assembly processes required for complex projects. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA standards, ASME codes & standards, and company safety protocols during all welding activities. Collaborate with team members on construction sites or manufacturing floors to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Experience Proven construction site experience with a strong background in structural steel welding, ductwork fabrication, or pipe installation. Extensive hands-on experience with
MIG, TIG, FCAW
welding processes across various materials including steel and aluminum. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical documentation related to welding projects. Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment. Knowledge of ASME codes & standards applicable to pressure vessels or structural welding is highly desirable. Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment safely when required for project logistics. Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for precise fabrication tasks.
