Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented solderer to join our manufacturing team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting electronic components and systems to ensure they meet quality standards. Your expertise will contribute to the production of reliable, high-quality products that meet customer specifications. Duties Assemble electronic components and circuit boards using surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole techniques. Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and assembly instructions to ensure accurate construction. Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and machining equipment to perform precise mechanical and electrical assembly tasks. Solder components onto PCB (Printed Circuit Boards) following IPC 610 standards for quality and safety. Conduct electrical wiring, testing with ohmmeters, and troubleshooting to verify circuit functionality. Maintain detailed documentation of assembly processes, inspections, and test results. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace to ensure compliance with industry standards. Qualifications Proven experience with PCB assembly, soldering, and surface mount technology (SMT). Strong understanding of schematics, electrical wiring, and mechanical assembly techniques. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their integration into manufacturing processes is a plus. Knowledge of IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies and experience working with electrical components. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, calipers, ohmmeters, and other machining or measurement devices accurately. Mechanical knowledge related to assembly processes and the use of hand tools in a manufacturing setting. Prior experience in electronics manufacturing or related field preferred; electrical experience is highly valued. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
