Forge Helper - 1st Shift Job Description We are looking for a motivated Forge Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of the forging process and procedures, along with the ability to follow directions and maintain a safe and organized work environment. The role involves ensuring the highest quality in parts production and adhering to all company policies and safety procedures. Responsibilities Follow directions given by supervisors. Keep track of serialization of parts. Maintain a safe and organized work area. Display concern for maintaining equipment such as manipulators and furnaces. Ensure the highest quality of parts being worked on. Adhere to company policies and safety procedures. Essential Skills Basic understanding of forging process and procedures. Ability to operate a forklift and/or other powered industrial equipment. Experience with foundry, production, forging, and quality inspection. Proficiency in using micrometres and calipers. Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and interpret bar graphs. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Three years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, with regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and extreme heat. Employees are regularly required to stand, walk quickly, and use hands to handle or feel. The role frequently requires stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing onto equipment, and lifting or moving up to 50 pounds. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
