This role involves performing precise welding, fabrication, and fitting tasks on various metal components, ensuring adherence to safety standards and technical specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with diverse welding techniques, and the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This position offers an opportunity to work on complex projects within a dynamic environment, contributing to the production of high-quality metal assemblies and structures. Responsibilities Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and various types of welding on various materials including sheet metal and pipe components. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and assemble parts. Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape and assemble metal components. Measure materials with calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure exact specifications are met. Operate rigging equipment such as cranes and forklifts for material handling and assembly tasks. Conduct fabrication tasks including, railing, job shop, HEBO, and machining operations. Follow ASME codes & standards for welding and fabrication processes to ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members on projects requiring mechanical knowledge, schematics reading, or assembly work. Requirements Proven experience in construction site environments or manufacturing settings involving welding and fabrication. Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, plasma cutting, and various types of welding techniques. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, pipe threading equipment, and machining tools. Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to welding and fabrication processes. Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Experience operating forklifts or cranes is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided. Strong safety awareness with the ability to follow strict safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing floors. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment requiring precision craftsmanship. This role is vital for supporting our production goals through expert fabrication skills combined with a strong understanding of safety standards and technical specifications.
