You will leverage your expertise in SMAW and FCAW processes to ensure that every pipeline system meets rigorous safety and performance standards while working independently on complex construction sites. Responsibilities Execute precision field welding on large-diameter water transmission pipelines and associated systems. Interpret complex blueprints, weld symbols, and technical specifications to ensure structural accuracy. Perform high-integrity internal and external welds on large-scale pipe infrastructure. Manage onsite fabrication tasks, ensuring all work aligns with project timelines and quality benchmarks. Maintain a proactive safety mindset, adhering to all site-specific protocols and regulatory requirements. Operate and maintain company-provided welding equipment to ensure peak performance in the field. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in pipe welding. Proficiency in SMAW (stick) and FCAW (flux-core) welding processes, including downhill techniques. Demonstrated ability to read and translate construction drawings and weld specifications. Valid driver's license with a clean record and ability to travel to various job sites. Ability to pass rigorous pipe and plate welding tests, including 6G position requirements. Preferred Skills Advanced certification or experience with TIG welding processes. Specialized experience welding stainless steel or aluminum materials. Prior background in water pipeline construction or heavy infrastructure projects. Strong problem-solving abilities when working in remote or challenging outdoor conditions.
