Is looking for a Fitter/Welder to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to determine project requirements. Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and fitting. Perform various types of welding, including wire feed, MIG, and TIG, as needed. Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications. Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition. Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently and accurately. Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used. Other jobs as assigned.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Structural Welder or similar role. Proficient in reading blueprints and welding symbols. Certification in welding techniques (e.g., AWS certification) is preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Physical stamina and strength to perform welding tasks in various positions and environments. Knowledge of welding equipment and tools. Commitment to safety protocols and procedures. Flexibility to work varied shifts and overtime as needed to meet production deadlines. Must have basic Fitter/Welder tools such as tape measure, squares, hammer, and clamps.

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle materials. Frequently required to lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds. Exposure to loud noises, heavy machinery, and potentially hazardous materials in a manufacturing environment.

Work Environment:

The position operates in a manufacturing or warehouse setting with exposure to outdoor weather conditions. May involve exposure to dust, dirt, and noise from machinery.
