Welder (1-month duration) Job Description We are seeking experienced Structural Stick Welders. This role focuses on D1.1 structural steel welding, primarily on beams and related assemblies, with a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and production standards typical of mission-critical facilities. Responsibilities Perform SMAW (stick) welding on structural steel components in accordance with

specifications. Weld structural beams and assemblies using E7018 electrodes. Complete welds in the 3G (vertical) position and other required positions. Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and shop drawings. Prepare materials including fitting, tacking, grinding, and cleaning weld areas. Ensure weld quality meets inspection requirements (visual, NDT as applicable). Follow all site safety protocols, including PPE and confined work practices common to data center environments. Perform typical precast welding including footer connections, roof connections, and alignment connections. Weld footer connections, roof connections, and alignment connections for precast structures. Complete welding tasks according to project specifications and safety requirements. Essential Skills 3+ years of experience as a structural stick welder on commercial or industrial projects.

structural welding experience. Strong proficiency with SMAW / stick welding using 7018 rods. Experience welding structural beams and columns. Ability to read and understand blueprints and weld symbols. OSHA 10 Certification is required. D1.1 Certification is required. Additional Skills & Qualifications Own welding hood is preferable. Work Environment The work schedule is from 6 am to 4 or 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with an additional 8 hours on Saturdays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fort Collins, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
