In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding and fabrication work on various metal components, ensuring all projects meet safety standards, technical specifications, and quality expectations. Your expertise will help bring complex designs to life, supporting construction, manufacturing, and assembly processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced welding techniques and mechanical systems in a dynamic environment. Duties Execute MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding techniques on sheet metal, ductwork, piping, and structural components. Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and assemble parts. Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and schematics to ensure accurate dimensions and fit-up of welded assemblies. Operate power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal components. Perform rigging, pipe threading, machining, soldering, and assembly tasks as required for project completion. Maintain strict adherence to ASME codes & standards for welding and fabrication safety and quality assurance. Conduct inspections of completed welds using hand tools and basic math skills to verify integrity before final assembly or installation. Support construction site activities by providing mechanical knowledge for ductwork installation, pipe fitting, or structural fabrication. Follow all safety protocols related to welding operations, crane use, forklift handling, and working with power tools in a construction or manufacturing setting. Experience Proven experience working as a welder in construction sites or manufacturing environments. Expertise in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding processes with a strong understanding of welding standards. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and the use of calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools. Hands-on experience with fabrication equipment such as plasma cutters, press brake machines, power tools, and machining tools. Knowledge of rigging techniques for lifting heavy materials safely with cranes or forklifts. Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced construction or manufacturing environments requiring attention to detail. Prior experience with pipe threading, soldering, assembly processes, or working under ASME codes & standards is highly desirable.
