Job Description
3+ Years of TIG Welding Experience Required We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder with stainless steel pipe welding experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience with TIG and MIG Pulse welding processes and the ability to fabricate high-quality components with precision. This role involves working with stainless steel materials, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring adherence to specifications to deliver superior results. Pipe welding experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize TIG and MIG Pulse welding techniques to weld stainless steel components, specifically 304 and 316 metal products Interpret drawings, blueprints, specifications, sketches, and tolerances to ensure accurate fabrication Perform welding operations in flat, vertical, or overhead positions as required Monitor fitting, burning, and welding processes to prevent overheating, warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of materials Set up and operate various hand and power tools, including angle grinders, TIG welders, and gas metal arc welding equipment Select appropriate filler rods based on base metal specifications Grind or cut edges of workpieces to ensure snug fits, using angle grinders and other hand tools
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Welding certificates are a plus Experience in
GTAW & GMAW-P
welding forms and reading blueprints Experience with modular fixturing is a plus Pipe welding experience Proficient in reading a tape measure and performing simple math
