Fabricator/Welder

Description:

Welds structural framework, components, and materials such as angle iron, WF sections, and other steel shapes and components. Perform such work consistent with the company mission and values and produces a product that meets recognized standards and customer expectations by maintaining Quality and Safety procedures. This is a safety-sensitive position. A safety-sensitive position has been defined as one where the employee's responsibilities impact the health and safety of themselves, coworkers, and/or the public (in this case the end-user of our product). All production and production support positions fall into this category.

Requirements:

Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening test Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumferences, and volume, and to apply concepts of basic mathematics Must be able to consistently produce clean and accurate welds and pass required welding qualification test(s) using FCAW, SMAW, GMAW, TIG, SAW, and Stud welding processes in multiple positions as required and on multiple materials such as steel, Must be able to arc gouge neatly and proficiently Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance with the ability to work overtime and weekends Possesses strong sense of urgency Can work independently and/or as a cooperative team player Willingly takes direction from supervisory personnel Adheres to quality procedures and demonstrates strong safety awareness and prevention Must be able to lift 50lbs

$17.00 - $26.00 per hour
