for welders on Day Shift. Job Description The ideal candidate for this position should possess a comprehensive understanding of the tools and equipment required for welding tasks. Knowledge of the strength and welding characteristics of various metals is essential. The ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics is crucial, as is the capability to recognize mechanical functions of moving parts and apply this knowledge to welding projects. Responsibilities Study schematics, diagrams, and blueprints to determine the layout of materials and devise welding plans. Perform TIG welds on aluminum and stainless steel and learn to utilize a variety of welding machines. Remove slag and rough spots by operating portable grinders or scrapers to ensure smooth work surfaces. Essential Skills Welding TIG welding Stainless steel MIG welding Blueprint reading Flux core welding Production Additional Skills & Qualifications Completion of an accredited welding program recognized by

AWS. 1-2

years of welding experience or a graduate from a tech school with a focus on welding. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is a large warehouse/manufacturing setting divided into four departments. It can be cold in winter and hot in summer. Our workers are friendly, and all employees collaborate across various departments. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, DE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
