Job Type:
Full-time Pay ranges from 20-30$ depending on experience Minimum 40 hour work weeks with plenty of overtime, weekends as needed. Must have your own transportation to and from site or shop. ideal candidate has experience with structural steel in a commercial or industrial setting Per diem on out of town jobs. Must be able to learn from supervision, mentors and day to day work practices in a timely and accurate manner. Employees must develop to, and maintain, the companies' safety and quality standards. We are looking for a skilled Welder/fabricator to cut and join metals and other materials at our facilities and/or construction sites. You will operate appropriate equipment to weld & install structures in commercial and light industrial settings. ~Duties~- Report to work on time and complete the entire shift.
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks according to specifications and blueprints
- Utilize various welding techniques, including Stick welding and FCAW, to join metal components
- Build and assemble metal structures, equipment, and machinery
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and weld metal pieces
- Conduct inspections to ensure the quality and integrity of welded components
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area ~Requirements~
- Employees must have at least 3 years' experience in GMAW, FCAW and SMAW welding processes.
- Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder or similar role
- Proficient in various welding techniques, including Stick welding and FCAW
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of basic math for measurements and calculations
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and carrying heavy materials
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Experience with fabrication shop equipment including iron-worker, power tools, grinders, cutting torches etc
- Basic rigging knowledge
