Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic Metal Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This vital role involves transforming raw materials into precise, high-quality metal components through expert fabrication and welding techniques. Duties Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes. Operate various hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and welding equipment including
MIG, TIG, FCAW
(Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and <
LOCATION
> welding techniques to produce accurate metal parts. Measure materials precisely using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices to ensure adherence to specifications. Fabricate sheet metal components and ductwork for construction or manufacturing applications, following ASME codes & standards. Perform welding tasks on diverse materials such as steel, aluminum, and other metals while maintaining quality and safety standards. Use rigging and crane operations for lifting heavy materials safely during fabrication or assembly processes. Conduct pipe threading, machining, soldering, and plasma cutting as required for complex projects. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols; utilize schematics for assembly and fabrication tasks effectively. Assist with mechanical assembly of fabricated parts into finished products or structures. Support construction site activities when necessary, demonstrating flexibility across various project phases. Qualifications Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of building safety protocols. Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, plasma cutting, and <
