Pipe Welder (Start ASAP)

Pipe Welder Job Description As a Pipefitter/Welder, you will play a crucial role in both new construction and renovation projects in the Fort Myers/Naples area. Your expertise in commercial pipefitting and welding will be essential in the installation of HVAC air handlers within mechanical rooms. Responsibilities Plan and execute the installation or repair of piping systems, including cutting, threading, and bending. Lay out, assemble, install, maintain, and repair various types of pipe systems. Mount hangers and brackets as necessary. Install valves, couplings, and other fittings to ensure system functionality. Essential Skills Minimum of 5 years of commercial construction experience. Proficiency in soldering and brazing carbon steel and copper pipes. Experience with schedule 40 steel pipes ranging from 2.5 inches to 8 inches. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. 6G welding certification or capability to pass the 6G weld test. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in pipe fitting, welding, and construction. OSHA 10 certification. Class 2 hardhat requirement. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Fort Myers, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $32.00/hr.
