QLM Jacksonville is looking for a qualified and certified welder for a commercial project in Jacksonville, FL. You must have a TIG and 6G TIG cert! The job is Monday through Friday. Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety standards. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements. Select and set up welding equipment, including shielded metal arc, gas metal arc, and gas tungsten arc welding. Must be able to work with stainless steel and perform socket and butt welds. Perform welding operations in various positions (horizontal, vertical, overhead). Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet specified standards and tolerances. Repair broken or cracked parts, fill holes, and increase the size of metal parts. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment. Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition. Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently.
